  1. TaskApp Version 2.0

  3. -What is TaskApp?
  4. TaskApp is a free, simple to use Windows 95 program which will minimize in the Windows 95 tray. 
  5. A right click will activate a popup menu, which allow you to launch everything you want,
  6. which is launchable in Windows 95 (executables, folders, etc.). It also gives you access to
  7. your drives (option).
  8. To activate TaskApp at startup add a shortcut to it in your StartUp folder.

  10. -What's new?????
  11. The bug with the non dissapearing popup is fixed.
  12. The bug which a few users got on startup is fixed (I think, I don't know if the error message
  13. was always the same)
  14. TaskApp can now be installed or uninstalled by a setup program
  15. The free sizes of the drive menu are updated everytime, you popup this menu.

  18. -How do I activate the popup?
  19. Rightclick the icon in the Windows 95 tray.

  21. -How do I add items?
  22. Choose settings from the popup. Drag your files, applications, documents in the listview. 
  23. Choose Apply or OK to confirm your new settings. 
  24. From now on it will appear in the popupmenu.

  26. -How do I delete items?
  27. Choose settings, rightclick the item you want to delete, choose delete.
  28. Or choose settings, select the item, choose the second button in the toolbar

  30. -How do I rename items?
  31. Choose settings, rightclick the item you want to rename, choose rename, change the name. 
  32. Choose apply.

  35. Choose the item from the popupmenu.

  37. Or choose settings, select the item, choose the first button in the toolbar

  40. Everything which is launchable by Windows 95.

  43. These are the icons which Windows 95 associates with the item.

  46. Choose settings, rightclick the item. Choose Edit and enter your arguments.

  48. -How do I edit the path to a program.
  49. Choose settings, rightclick the item. Choose Edit and enter your arguments.
  50. (Note: TaskApp doesn't check if your path is alright!)

  57. -Know Bugs
  58. You cannot drag items from the 'my computer' window. This is because normally Windows 95 doesn't accept any dragging from this window (Have you ever noticed the 'You cannot move or copy this item to this location, would you create a shortcut instead' message?)

  60. In Windows NT (I only tested 4.0) the icons are very strange. 
  61. Just uncheck the Show icons box to see your items.
